I like that this game does away with all the mental hurdles. They get a top 3 team on their floor for senior night, then one more game and the tournament.

Feels like for years uri has had these starts where they feel out other teams that are good. URI usually wins the beginning of these against all teams. Duke Maryland. All teams. I haven’t seen anything like this maybe ever.

Long is a serious defender. I think he can be a lynchpin with a capable front court player like Langevine or someone that can defend the rim and then the rest of the athletic length we have. This team is so exciting and it is scary bc I want them to reach their potential.
