Re: Understanding the NIL
They started this during the Final Four… Next year, Sanogo could be in the G League, making money in France or something, getting money from another school or UConn (not the most likely right now, they’re all in on Clingan). Re: The Men's Basketball Transfer Carousel 2023-24
I think some of the impatience from fans comes from hoping that there had been some back door deal worked out with a player of note, and the announcement just had to wait for the appropriate timing. I don’t necessarily think that’s a fair belief to hold, but I get wanting it to be true.

I don’t remember Archie having to negotiate the program out of sanctions and scholarship reductions. Archie’s is a team rebuild, Dan’s was a program AND team rebuild. It’s easier said than done, but winning kind of makes those transfers feel like guys you’ve been rooting for from day one. Joey California (Calcaterra) somehow became a UConn legend in a single season. That part is definitely different but not necessarily bad.

It's odd that there was more buzz around Young and Murray last year. UConn's run was so deep, there aren't really many open jobs for them to consider. Unless you do the Cooley, and court a job while you're still competing, most of the best jobs are filled by weekend one or two being over. Things mo...
