I know it’s been years, but Georgetown for me is all about Allen Iverson and Big John laying it all out to defend his players and being a strong presence and role model in a white coaching world. UConn-Marquette game was fantastic. Mad they won, but I love seeing Shaka excelling again. I am convinced that’ll be Archie’s path, too. Right fit, win games. No one wants a first game exit from the conference tournament to end their whole season, but there is something kind of clean about it finally being over, now that transfer season has become such a thing. I’m happy for Brendan Adams. He worked hard, always represented himself and his family well, and put together a nice college career. He’s also ending his eligibility with two degrees, a bachelor’s degree he earned in three years at UConn and a master’s.

The decision makers knew they had messed up with some of their empty looking promises and threw money and resources at Archie and company. I don't know how true this is. The only "decision maker" that is still at URI from the Hurley years is Thorr and I don't think he wasn't trying to get...

I think they’re going to be able to move up in the conference fairly quickly. That doesn’t mean they’ll be as nationally relevant as soon because of what the conference currently is, but it’s a necessary first step and should feel pretty satisfying for fans and players/staff alike. Ace, I could see David Cox (DC) grabbing a job like this or similar, if he decides to take another stab at leading a program. I think this type of job would be a good fit for him eventually. Alex Karaban and Donovan Clingan were named to the All-Freshman team, and UConn’s ‘23 recruiting class is 4th in the country. The current team is pretty good, and the future is bright. Not surprising that Dayton’s accounts are the most popular/interacted with in the conference.
Also, I hadn’t looked at the A10’s KenPom numbers in a while. Ugly, viewer discretion is advised. Six 200+ teams and only two in the top 100.

I don’t know if it’s a game of interest, but it certainly was interesting to see it unfold. Rutgers was up 10 with 1:15 to play against an awful Minnesota team. And lost.
Minnesota picks up just their second conference win of the season.
