I would say, with respect to the Garden doubleheader, that that is a fluid situation. Whether the event will exist at all and which teams would participate if it does are both still open questions. URI playing Kentucky is a possible outcome, but it is also the best of many potential scenarios.

I don't get why they didn't just do Tanaka's surgery over the winter so he could pitch all or almost all of 2016. They aren't going to be competitive this year whether he pitches or not. If he pitches until June then blows it out and has Tommy John in July he is not going to pitch until 2017.

Ha I saw that. Pretty weird. There are three candidates according to everyone. One local media guy says one of the candidates will get the job, and a well-connected national guy says it will be one of the other two guys. Pretty clear they're talking to different sources.

We really don't know what these kids are like behind closed doors......we like to think they were superior human beings.....but who knows what really went on....from starters to bench players...stars to role players......only the coaches really know and they ain't gonna say anything publicly..... ....

It was sporadic-at-best all year. A lot of people felt he outplayed his minutes and should have played more.

It is too early to count the chickens, I just haven't seen anything to this point to justify the skepticism. Voicing skepticism as a default does not make you insightful, it makes you a skeptic. Which is a fine thing to be, but don't get it confused.
