Re: Game #35: Oregon (NCAA Tournnment Rd of 32) - Sun March 19
Cmon Rod Iverson made some good blocks and grabbed some good rebounds but Martin and often langevine when he played were better at it. Iverson had a whopping 16 rebounds over the past 4 games. Martin had 19 more despite not grabbing a single rebound vs Oregon Langevine grabbed 30 despite playing way...

Did no one else notice the Oregon player touched the ball out of bounds with a few seconds left? It should have been reviewed even if our chances were pretty slim.

Def should be back next year. just need somebody to step up or a grad transfer to replace martin. I really feel like Langevine will be a good a10 big... His offense was much better late in the year and I think it was really just confidence. I feel like a dick for saying this and I know people on her...

At some point between 18:00-5:00 mins left in the second half I go outside to have a cigarette to calm my nerves a bit usually after the opponent has had a bit of a run. I noticed 5 years ago when I do this the rams almost always stabilize and go on to victory. When I'm at the ryan center I often fi...

Anyone else getting flashbacks from that day we played Kansas in the 2nd round in 98? Hope it turns out as good as that day did! I remember it was perhaps the first URI game I watched without my father as he was away running his trade show. I left a message at his hotel room bout the game being so c...

Guessing Mcram is unable to get the official streams in HK. stuff like that is often region locked. I would go to reddit and look for mbb streams. Or even post on the college basketball subreddit with your predicament (just don't specifically ask for an illegal stream). I guarantee someone can help ...

Anyone else find it super awkward to refer to this kid as "Fatts?" I get that's his nickname in the tradition of ironically calling fat rappers like bigge "smalls" and vice-versa. It's odd and hardly very clever to me so I think i'll stick with Daron. Super excited about his play...

Unfortunately, under title IX and a letter sent out to college's by the government about 4 years ago Universities feel compelled to create absurdly one sided system's for deciding sexual assault cases. The only thing that worries me about that video is he never finishes above the rim. Does not seem to be an explosive leaper.
OTOH he looks very smooth and natural scoring near the basket. Excellent body control.

Look at the kids first year at Towson and you will see how i suspect Hurley would like to sue him. 85% of shots attempted from 3 point range where he made over 40%. Far less turnovers because hes not trying to do stuff with the ball offsetting a mild drop in assist/reb/ppg. Based on that year we kno...

I think many posters feel the same way and don't care about their run to the sweet 16 in 1988 or what happened under Jim Harrick. You're entitled to feel however you want about it, but I suspect you're very wrong about this. I think most fans do care about the history. I was even a few years behind...

Seems really unfair to so harsh on EC. We all gotta remember hes playing with an injury that is famous for making it very hard to perform at near 100%. yes, he does need to work on the Turnovers. If so that sucks, it took Schilling until 06 to get back from that injury and it has a reputation for hindering performance.

I was only 9 or so at the time, but the hate Anderson got from some URI fans at games was unbelievable. Granted, the way he would always takes soft layup/2 footers instead of attacking the rim was very frustrating.
I honestly thought he had a shot at the NBA by the time he graduated however.

Why would anyone not want this?
Not every guy we recruit will fulfill his potential. Adding another guy who was a too 100 recruit a year ago would be a no brainer. If Terrell and Garrett excel it's a good problem to have too many good guards.
