You can tell Archie is a good coach on the sidelines. Always finds a teaching moment with the players, either after a timeout or a free throw, or after a substitution. He’s trying. I’d work my ass off for him.

The MAC had a whopping 4 teams that got 20 wins this season, and only one of them got more than 20 wins (24). UMass is going to be fine, they'll probably be the next Vermont, but of a bigger Conference. I mean maybe lol, but anything less than that, they’re screwed. How? They have sucked since 96’ ...

I feel like recruiting for one school, then leaving and taking the recruits should be illegal. They signed with the school, not the assistant coach.

These are college kids, not professionals. Different standards apply.

I’d also that if they think they can hop around this much as a professional in basketball or elsewhere without any pride commitment or loyalty, what kind of lesson is that?

You can't keep turning over your roster and expect to win. Always and Rory go, everyone else comes back. That's 4 new players next season. Rory and Foumena are official... Are you expecting: Always Fou Rory Bilau ? Four new players might actually be perfect, two freshman and two veteran transfers.

I don't get why Oklahoma, Michigan State and especially Colorado are supposedly safe. It's like they can't make up their mind what they value more. Metrics or quality wins? Colorado has one win over a clear cut tournament team in Wazoo. Next best win is Oregon a couple times...why are they so clear...

I don’t think the committee compares power conference teams to non power conference apples to apples. Power conferences will always have more quad 1 wins but have many more opportunities.

Yea you can’t compare a grown man who has a career making money supporting a family (in many cases) to a college student athlete who’s 18/19 years old making some extra scratch. Coaches or any employee should be obligated to stay at least 5-6 years, but it’s not comparable to the players.

I was thinking this too, I thought the colleges were making too much money and that the student athletes deserved a piece, but in reality , the fans need to pay more? That can’t be sustainable.

It’s been an uphill battle from day 1 for him. Hard to imagine most coaches having significantly more progress. There’s been some establishment of a core and of a system. The real judging starts next season for me.

I’m a big believer in Foumena, his size and athleticism and passion. Maturing will be key.

The coaches decide? Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't think the coaches are giving anything to the collective. Why should they decide? Maybe the team's GM will decide? That's the ticket ;) I don't think I want the coach deciding. Not because he's not capable, but, because he has enough to do already ...
