I don't understand: why even make the comparison? Dayton (1) has a history of success, both recently and historically, and (2) has fans that are extremely passionate. They're one of the best traveling schools in the country in terms of fan support. They always have big crowds, even in down years.

I'm excited to see more of Gil at his natural 4 spot. His defense should improve, and allow him to play more freely. The offense is there already. He's a pretty good player as it stands, and we saw a lot of negatives last year. Have to think some of that improves.

The other issue with that is if you bring in Hare/Watson/Iffy then either Gil or Hassan is on the bench, or playing out to the 3. These are "good problems", with all the depth that we now have, but something to consider.
