Entry level helmets cost approximately $350 at the high school level. I would imagine what Rhody uses would cost more. That would really start adding up when you consider up to 100 guys, on top of regular safety and inspection that needs to be done, storage etc.

I was surprised to see the Georgia State running back motioning for a first down when he got up after the play. It appeared he didn't get back to the line of scrimmage, let alone the yard or so they needed.

Also- regarding timing, he may have needed summer classes in order to qualify as a graduate transfer. While it may have benefitted him on the field to be at his new destination in the spring, in life it may have benefitted him to stay here, finish up course work and get his degree.
