Re: 2023-24 Schedule (top post is current)
Okay so you are going to use the worst season the A 10 has ever had as an example . what you miss id that the P 5 teams have numerous home games to pick up those Q 1 and Q 2 wins which is where their rankings come from in the first place . My point is that is what creates the perception that they a...

Re: 2023-24 Schedule (top post is current)
72 this post imo is just BS . The A 10 has had a couple of down years , yes . That can be said of most of the so called P 5 at times in the fairly recent past . What has been going on in the NCAA Tournament in recent years has shown that the so called P 5 schools are not that far above the level th...

Re: Conference Realignment
I don't doubt that the BE will expand with or without UConn. The only question is how many schools will they add, but other than long shot Gonzaga, there are no potential adds that significantly improve the brand attractiveness of the league. This is the issue. The conference is not opposed to expa...

Re: Conference Realignment
I think the Big East has nailed the conference realignment strategy by keeping their conference small. No hangers-on. Georgetown will be back. DePaul is a perennial doormat in the Big East but always around the 150 range and at least invest in their program. All of the programs we've looked to add ...

At the expense of number of bids. Got it. Who cares how relevant it all stays for everyone, so long as the A-10 get's paid. That, is why this league is heading for the crapper. Not sure what your point is jcru? The A10 is doing what it can to react to the expansion of the P6. The blame on teams not...

Mike Locksley is making $5.5M this year and by the end of his current contract he’ll be making $6.7M. If he’s so concerned why doesn’t he break off a tiny piece of that and pay the kids that supposedly will only come for cash. My post was relying to the person above me who said the B12 teams aside from Kansas "did nothing" for them. Sure teams in the BE absolutely can win championships (as they proved) but it's easier in the B12 as the strength of schedule will lead to better seeds. You know how many BE teams w...
