This is the best Rhody schedule in the last 20 years, if not ever - PC, Bama, LSU, Maryland, VCU, Davidson, Dayton - 10 games against Top 40ish teams. 6 more 2nd tier games (Top 75-150) against West Virginia, Western Kentucky, St Bonnie, Richmond, St.Louis, Duquesne. 101 is the floor for St. Bonnie, my guess is they end up closer to Top 75. I also would guess they are considering St Louis 7th in league, Bonnies 6th, and I guess Richmond 5th and they will pop next on this countdown. At that size you have to be elite at something and most likely shooting. Fatts is a bit of an outlier in that he can find ways to score in the paint but he does have elite quickness. I am not going to argue that size is preferable if all things are equal, Of course it is.

The game has changed, yet a frail, skinny, unathletic and undersized PG is still amongst the Top 5 or 6 best players in the NBA. If you can play you can play, discriminating based on size is asinine in the context of an A10 PG.

First and obvious hurdle, UMass and Uconn play FBS football and URI and any others you mention play FCS. With those 2 showing no signs of wanting to drop back down, and URI showing no signs of wanting to play up this would seem more far fetched than a home and home bball series with Tehran University.

It has advanced indeed. Although what has also happened is that conditioning and b-ball trainers have made things sound ridiculously complex and invented new vernacular in the social media age to draw attention. Not saying that is what is happening here, but it is a thing.

He could’ve/should’ve had a better career at Rhody. By his senior year he could step out to 20 feet and hit with consistency, was legit 6’9”/6’10”. Unfortunately played on some bad teams and with a coach who definitely didn’t get his max out of him.

I dont think many will argue that the likelihood of the 50th ranked guy having a better career than the 250th ranked guy is greater...but those are extreme differences. What most coaches have said, and I agree with, is that after the Top 25-30 kids there is a huge margin of error from 30 thru 150-17...

Getting Dayton, Davidson and VCU would be a god send as it would add likely 3 Q1 road games and 3 Q1/Q2 home games pending where they net out after OOC.
