Re: All things Dan Hurley/UCONN THREAD
I wouldn’t put SMU in that upper tier group for basketball. What have they done on a national basis? In the last 5 years they are 126-43 with 2 tournament appearances, one year they were left out as a Top 25 team, and one year they were banned. Last year they were a bubble team for most of the year...

Re: All things Dan Hurley/UCONN THREAD
Someone should point out to whoever was quoted inferring the A-10 was a lower conference that the A-10 actually has more NCAA bids than the AAC and the same number of wins since it was formed. The leagues have traded places with each other in the RPI ratings during that time. It is a gross misstate...

The thing that hurt Fatts is his size. He's shown the ability to produce, and he's quick as hell and feisty on defense. Teams want those skills but in a guy 6-8 inches taller. If Fatts was 6'3/6'4, he's probably a Top 50 recruit given his accolades. He's never going to get taller. On the other side ...

Outside of the Top 20-25 kids rankings are based on very small sample sizes, with “scouts” of varying competencies making these judgments for the various services. WEEI streams their primary broadcast (believe it is 93.7 FM). The broadcast for PC games was on 103.7 (think of it as a regional "Providence" broadcast). Because of that, if you listen to the WEEI stream online, you just get the Boston version.
