In any event we need a stud with lots of x and o experience including using unused fouls at the end of the half with few seconds left to prevent the other team from getting off a shot.

Based on not calling any fouls late in the first half vs GW and the Tre Mitchell fiasco in the second Umass game the whole coaching staff should be at fault. Who if any should be kept is a huge question. There are other instances but those two stand out to me.

Cox' use of time outs is maddening and his non use of time outs is more maddening. You don't have to be a Hall of Fame coach to be able manage time outs but this for some reason is a problem for Cox.

It is up to the coach to put the team in the best position to win the game. I would say that this year the coach has failed miserably with his substitution patterns and lack of the use of time outs at what we all thought were critical times and his Xs and Os especially playing against a zone defense.
