Tough to be excited when no one has seen the team play in person in 18 months. They sucked last year and arent projected to be that great this year. People have turned their attention to other things- kind of an out of sight out of mind situation.

Didn’t renew my seats- held off to get a better idea of COVID situation and schedule. Figured there will be plenty of tix avail at minimal cost for all games. I’m a teacher and assume I’ll be in a mask all day. There’s no way I’m sitting 2 hours in the RC watching Rhody/Bryant etc.. with a mask on.

They are going to have to give tons of tickets out either deeply discounted or free to have any kind of respectable attendance numbers for any of these games- conference included. My guess also is that season ticket #s must be significantly lower this season.

Remember when they tried that thing with the light show using phones that didn’t need WiFi? I have little confidence that the eticketing system will go smoothly.
But on the other hand…. I think with low attendance this season, the wait at the door won’t be bad.

If Preston is the choice that Cox makes- that’s fine(I don’t fully agree). If the reason he gets the position is that his son comes with him- that’s not fine. Those situations don’t play out as great as people think.

Fully vaccinated- attended opening day at Fenway- wore a mask- wasn't a big deal. At this point a small price to pay for in-person entertainment. If you're eating and drinking the mask is down for a chunk of the time anyway.
