Re: Game #9: @ Providence College - InGame!!!
URI and Providence are both in very tenuous situations in which their fate is outside their control. There really is not as much of a gulf as some would like to portray. It will probably become even less as time goes on. PC has had the benefit of membership in the Big East reaping in excess of 1 mil...

Did anyone happen to catch the next game for both Auburn and Vermont after their loss to Rhody? Both played at home and lost to programs that were not highly thought of. Auburn lost to Depaul, picked to finish 13th in the 15 team Big East. Vermont lost to Towson which was the CAA preseason pick for ...

Now they're ragging on Hurley on the PC board, that's he's an immature high school coach, who's totally out of control. Oh, and he didn't praise Cotton, but gave his players credit for shitting him down. "He'll make URI and himself the team and coach that everyone loves to hate. This isn't hig...

Extremely disappointed in Ed Cooley's comments that this game should always be played at the DDC. He is no outsider that might not understand the rivalry. He grew up here and coached on both sidelines. He full well knows how those types of comments would go over with Rhody fans. Very bush league.

I'll just touch on some stuff written here. For a long time I've felt that the PC/URI game should be played only at the Dunk. Screw Cooley for suggesting that. They couldn't even sell out the DDC. Thousands of empty seats with a crowd of just 9344. Very bush league for him to suggest that all games should be played on his team's home court. I had thought more of him.

URI is shooting 37.5% which is about as bad as they do most games. FT shooting is actually good. Rhody's problem looks to be the turnovers with 19 thus far.

I would argue that BB's departure was a short-term gain as well Totally disagree. Billy Baron would have been a big part of this year's team.
