It's amazing how smart these guys are. Rhode Island wins by 9 so depending on when you made the bet you either covered with VCU or with URI. But a half point either way.

I thought this was a lock for VCU.

The only way that a 4/5 seed could be anywhere but Boise or San Diego is if Arizona or Gonzaga end up as a 3 seed. That would mean that one of the 4/5 would not be in Boise/SD and instead I think would likely be in either Nashville, Wichita or Dallas.

I never believed that penalizing an entire program for something that a few individuals may have been guilty of is right. To me if the job opens up Maryland would be the one to watch. And I agree with the person who mentioned Notre Dame. Syracuse would probably be the 3rd. If Hurley leaves my prediction is he goes to one of those 3 schools.

The opponent matters, too. When you're playing lousy competition on a night in and night out basis people don't have the same excitement. I would bet that last night would have sold out, for example, if this was UMass of the 90's instead of the UMass today.
