Tourney or Bust most likely means he is gone after this season. I would consider a strong finish and a bubble team narrowly missing out close enough to consider letting him stay. Who will they lose after this season beside Shepard.

Fordham has been good from time to time. Big game for Rhody getting to 4-0 would’ve huge! BTW wow did UNH get walloped by Pitt…it’s hard to lose by 70 points! Talk about running up a score and a complete mismatch.

It’s was a great investment in the program and seeing the donor earmarked the donation I would guess these were the things the program wanted the most. I new scoreboard would be the next investment, as it’s cost would be cheap compared to the investment in a new East grandstand.

So far this schedule clearly states that Rhody is not considered a contender for the tourney by other teams. Still there are what two open games left? Maybe they can finagle in a few good games…not that either would be at the RC. The RC schedule stinks period the end. Not good for a fourth year coach.

To me the 4pm start would be a nice option with the lights going on at “X” time based upon the date of the game and time of dusk/sunset. Still leaves most of us time after the game to grab a late dinner or just join a couple buddies for a after game drink.

Just a little research needed the plan is to renovate West gym. So put in a basketball court some office space, BB o my strength and conditioning Area. 5 million is pretty cheap compared to a lot of basketball practice facilities, guess they will save big $ on a renovation verses a new build.

PC has a aging fan base and the same could be said if URI except URI has way more students and therefor has more chances to build lifelong fans. Sounds like a solid replacement! I guess it really doesn’t matter, but I much prefer Rhody coaches and staff leaving Rhody for a position in the Pro ranks verse leaving to join another college program.

If Rhody is to succeed the coach and AD need to be in line. I think they are, but the coach can be a little bit more vocal than the AD on matters of this kind. For the record I think a neutral site game this season with the “normal rivalry” restarting up again next season @PC is more than fine.
