Only about 15-20 kids a year get drafted after being in "school" for only 1 or 2 years. The other 3,000+ don't. So we should change how everything is done because of less than 1% of the kids? So for 3,000+ kids it's a good deal and maybe it's not a good one for 15-20 kids a year...too bad....

Are we saying that they use RPI to decide who is in what quadrant? It's accurate enough to tell the committee how good your opponents are, but not how good you are? The situation at LaSalle is troubling as well. The school is having financial difficulties and currently examining its sports programs and has not ruled out downgrading conferences. The money they earned (4 NCAA units) for the NCAA Sweet-16 run in 2013 will run out next year. The schools is so hard...

It's hard to tell if Martelli has run his course at St Joes given the last two seasons have been devoured by the injury bug. Thanks...Just wish they had won a few more in non-con...they got their doors blown off a bunch. But you can see the margin of the losses got smaller as the non-con neared the end.

What is the story with Richmond...normally a solid program...they had about as bad a non-con as you could ever have and now they have won 5 straight A10 games...that makes the league look so bad. Was someone injured at the start of the season, many new players to work in, get some players available ...

People associated with URI are proud of the school, and I think the school is underrated in most every respect. This gives us a very visible thing to publicly be proud about...the winning, national attention, top 25, all mean something for the overall perception of the school. Some of the basketball...
