Re: The New Reality
Agree. Some of the "newer" offenses out there like the dribble-motion or four out/one in really typify this. You'll see 6'11" guys face up and knock down shots. You can strip away with the tags as you see these guys rotate through positions on the floor. Still need ball handlers, stil...

Re: Hurley Recruiting Philosophy and Offers
There is still no need to "reach". Win 20+ games this year, get some good exposure, then explode with the '15 recruiting year. I agree, balance is good, but I'd rather get 4 or 5 very good recruits in '15 rather than "settle" for a couple of average '14s. I don't disagree with t...

I'm not understanding the last part of the quote. Is he talking about Oneykaba as a partial qualifier? Iggy, it looks from the comments Monday, by Dan, that they're scrapping recruiting this year and figuring winning this year will open up 2015 for them. That leaves a hole at SG, to replace Munford...

It's a great question. I'll eliminate anyone I didn't see with my own eyes. The other thing is we aren't talking best three players but best 3 on 3 team. LOTS of jumpers in a 3 on 3 game. BC got to #2 in the country (late in the season) in both football and hoops in the 2000s. They have had their fair share of great QBs over the last 30 years and they have a path to a playoff spot (win the ACC), especially when they go eight teams. That's a good enough combo where you can see somethi...
