I watched Tyrese Martin play last night. He played just OK but his effort/hustle and involvement was more than I ever saw at any game when he played here where he appeared to be regularly coasting. Players play for Hurley- not so much for Cox

Looks like Jeff is kinda looked at as a AAAA player- successful in the G League but not viewed as someone that teams want to devote a roster spot to. I don't necessarily agree...
If there is ever a chance, this would be the year with the high roster turnover due to covid.

Assistant coaching isn’t the problem. There wasn’t going to be any noticeable difference between Bozeman and Sutton.

Hasn't retained high end talent(Toppin/Martin)
Hasn't made tournament.
Team hasn't improved.
Interest and attendance is down.

Problem is many people that will end up going tomorrow are season ticket holders who already have tix for the rest of the year.

If kids cared about team success in college you would not see the waves of transfers each season. Kids are looking for more playing time/ greater exposure etc….

I did not watch the game but the result is not surprising. I think the fact Sutton had coached and recruited most of the players on the Rhody roster didn’t get as much play going into the game than it should have.

Given the schedule, Rhody has no chance of an at large- so this win means very little as far as any kind of resume builder. Sure Bryant may be a conference champ- then they’ll be seeded a 15 or 16 in the dance.

Because they are not ticket holders. Seems like the attendance # is tickets sold, not people in the stands.

If the RC holds 8000 and the announced attendance was 4400 that means it was more than 50% full. I did not attend- for those that did, was the building 1/2 full??? From the pictures it doesn't look like it.
