You can keep the current soccer field. Have a new stadium, that is soccer ready. If you have field turf, it could be used for Soccer tournament, Camps. How much do Plans cost? Obram, URI does not a have a facility improvement plan, because they're aren't sure if there will be a need for one when it comes to football. If the decision is made to keep football, then we might see a plan for future upgrades. I'm sure it would have to be a step by step process. It's all up to ...

Re: Rhody Football costs the university about $500,000
Current staff needs at least 5 years. The decision to drop to the NEC set back football at least 5 years, maybe more. URI football started to cut scholarships in 2011, to prepare for NEC, which thankfully did not happen. Freshmen that came in in 2012-2013 would now be RS-Juniors, but we lost those r...

I don't think it is a coincidence that the two best programs, URI basketball and URI indoor Track have had the most success in the 21 century and the have best facilities, and maybe you can throw hockey into that equation also, maybe baseball also but baseball needs stands.

U of Buffalo has a Track around stadium and also Brown, and the fans are too far from the action. If you were ever on Autzen Stadium field, you can't believe how it is, like the Ryan Center for basketball, you are very close. Plus Meade is to small for a track and football/soccer field. Albany was I believe Div III, then in the NEC. Why do you not hear of talk at Albany, the program cost to much. Albany has invested in facilities, and in the program. It has Administrative support. The A-10 has had baseball at Dodd Field in Norwich in 2004, I think it could have it at a new baseball Park in Providence.
