I think you have to start Bassy until Freeman shows something better. With the way Freeman played the other night, him, Carey and Ish is not going to work.

Bassy was 3-10 overall and 0-4 from 3.... We already knew he was a strong playmaker that could push the pace. If this team is going to go anywhere our starting point guard can't shoot 30% from the field and 0% from 3. Period. I love Bassy as a backup guard that pushes the pace when we need a spark....

I don’t know if he will start but I am predicting that Rory gets the most minutes of the freshmen - Archie will find a way to make use of a sharp shooting forward in ways we have not seen at Rhody in a long time.

The schedule is perfectly crappy for year 1. Could easily be going into the PC game with only 1 or 2 losses (maybe zero if things start to click...). Hopefully we are playing decent enough basketball by then that the fans who come will come back the rest of the season.
