Today is National signing day. In addition to announcing the official signing of the QB from Texas Conner Kenyon (as previously reported) they have also announced the addition of two DBs. Will keep an eye on the twitter feed for additional signings.

Deon Silas, a running back from Iowa State signs with the Rams. As a sophomore he had 271 yards with 3 touchdowns on 60 attempts. Had 13 carries for 75 yards and 2 touchdowns as a freshman. He was a 3 star recruit out of high school.

The emergence of both as legit game breakers was vital for our offense. While running back appeared to be a deep position with Brown and Smith, it would have been a glaring hole if it wasn’t for Deshields.
