Rutgers, what a mess. Suspended football coach. What else is new?
I seriously doubt it. Of the other 2, Monmouth is a long shot, FD is a moon shot.....
The kid has very low goals if he picks any of them.....
If the staff and other players want him, this is a no brainer.

Re: Stony Brook Capital Projects
You know what this all boils down to?
If you're going to have a CAA football program, do what it takes to have a respectable CAA football program, or don't do it AT ALL.
URI isn't doing that. Either do it, or lose it.

URI COULD figure out a way to get this done without state bonds...but will they?
They don't need $54 million either. They just need the will to do so....right now? Nope.
$15 million for a new East stands, another $5-10 million for lights, turf, practice facilities.
Imo, anyway.

Obram, URI does not a have a facility improvement plan, because they're aren't sure if there will be a need for one when it comes to football. If a guy has a good handle with both hands, that makes him VERY hard to guard.
Compared to EC, who is very talented of course, but he's much better with the left hand.....maybe the finger surgery will help with the right hand?

Really. We've got one commitment already from a big, another one is announcing tonight, and another visiting in a couple of days.
We could have 3 by the end of the weekend.
Things have changed, and fast. Good to see the staff's efforts are paying off.
If all commit, does that leave room for a PG?

As to the cost of a new stadium, just replacing the East stands would cost at least 15 mil or so, and that's on the cheap.
