I can't see any of the teams involved agreeing to this. Brown and Bryant lose guaranteed pay days, URI and PC both lose a home game (yes it is PCs home court, but not money wise for this game) , and RC and URI both take an RPI hit for playing Bryant and Brown.

If PC loses Dunn I would NOT count on them being a Top 100 opponent. The idea that the BE finished as the #2 RPI conference just shows how badly flawed RPI is as a metric. And you base this on what? They have a winning record against every conference they've played including 7-2 vs the ACC. So far ...

I think today's product is watered down, compared to Lombardi's NFL. It's a far more delicate game that it was then. Rules didn't favor the offense, and QBs were a real target for being taken out by defense. As for Belichick, he was hated in Cleveland. where he had one winning season in four years....

The men's NCAA basketball tournament is the biggest cash cow in sports because it is inclusive. I'm not in the camp that thinks Miami will put a whooping on PC. I think PC getting a point is a great bet. Miami starts 2 guys under 6 foot and two other guards with a 7 footer. I agree with Superfly, I thought both sides were kind of reserved and quieter than usual. Not much standing either, even at the end. Despite all the lead up bravado, I don't think either side knew what to expect so there was a lot of just watching and finger crossing.

Sometimes I wonder if Hurley is so high energy/volume all the time, that eventually the kids get use to it and when he needs to improve the energy/effort, they've already heard that level so much, that it doesn't create a response anymore... I think a lot of the refs may feel the same way too.
