Umass is concerning me..... the kid Pipkins is a real special player. I know we have more overall talent but we are going to need a to control this kid somehow because he can just take over.

My two concerns in the A10 are Umass and St. Joes. Umass will be a tough matchup with their size in the paint and that small guard who lights it up. We really need to cut down on our fouls. I know are uptempo man defense is going to result in fouls but it’s just too many. We have to play smarter defensively. Langevine is not coming along as I had hoped. I like his effort and all but we really need him to improve like now. Berry needs more touche...

Ford had a great defensive game plan and his adjustments to our lineups was impressive(isolation to Berry etc) Terell and Berry came to play...everyone else for the most part had poor performances Too many fouls. Langevine is driving me crazy........ he just doesn’t have the fundamentals yet. In a game like this I would have Berry getting more minutes. St Louis has no post game so stick with Berry. Langevine constantly creates stupid fouls even offensively.

Iona is a very good team. I saw some of their game today against St Johns. Thursday we need to be ready to play or we’ll be in trouble.

This was a very good Charleston team. Number 1 and their center number 23 were both excellent players. I’m glad we were able to pull off the win. Cyril did have a great game and we did have a very nice crowd.
