Archie’s right. I know he recruited them but it’s still the player’s responsibility to play hard. Let’s hope the same recruiting mistakes aren’t made this off season. Also, no one should give up in year 2. This ain’t Kentucky.

Agreed on decent crowds at the RC considering our performance. I remember some early Hurley dog days. Could hear a pin drop.

His last season was not good, but he did show progress.

I like Fou. He did well vs lesser opponents and you can’t teach height. This is a huge upcoming offseason for him and his sophomore year will be huge. If he wants to keep moving around, it’s still a gamble.

I’m not sure of their roster turnover, but noticed they have a good amount of upper classman. The roster turnover is the difference between URI and Loyola, in my opinion.

I really don’t think Archie acts like a “big shot” btw. He has expectations and the players aren’t meeting them. That’s clear by the constant rotation mix ups.

Two ten was fun, pregamed once before a PC game. They had Rhody banners and TVs. Nice bar overlooking the bay. About 15 min from the RC.

Reminder- Dan Hurley was 14-18 in year two. Lost 6 games in a row through February and then won a few to end the regular season. Was knocked out in the first round of the A10 tourney. Perspective can breed hope.

*Next season the rams went 23-10

Yea the freshman - Cam, Fuch, Foumena especially will develop. We’ve been very critical of the freshman this season, maybe more than ever. The transfers that are supposed to help pick up the slack are not getting it done.

I’m expecting some assistance coaching changes this season. Need better recruiters. Archie’s the chef, but the groceries the staff has collected are just not good enough.
