I walked by the GW team in the hotel during the A10 tournament and I expected Watanabe to flop to the ground and writhe around in pain when I walked by him with my Rhody sweatshirt on.

I added a poll for how waiver priority is managed. This is my pet issue for the season. Please do not let me down.

I haven't done the analysis to know exactly what our hit rate is, but my feeling is this staff does well once we get the player to campus.

I am not defending stealing by any stretch. But I also know that other college athletes have gotten much worse swept under the rug on their behalf.

Have to think Oats would have fought this, too, considering their background. Plus, I'd have to imagine Moss had considerable goodwill built up in the Buffalo community. So whatever he did, it must have been a no-brainer to run him out of the school.

The only opinion I have on this is that our academic support for athletics should be such that student athletes don't have to choose between playing a sport and taking "real" classes.

I still believe that all schools with revenue-producing sports programs should pay into a pot from which all participating schools would distribute the funds to their athletes on a pro rata basis. There is something to that way of thinking. Clearly P5 football schools have an economic advantage. But there is also a huge difference between VCU, Gonzga, Wichita St., Xavier, etc., and true mid-majors as the term is commonly used.

OK you guys are in line. I'm going to give them the weekend to respond. If they don't, you'll inherit rosters in the order you jumped in, so the first guy to get in will inherit the roster of the highest placed finisher that drops. (This matters for your keeper.)
