It’s easier said than done, but winning kind of makes those transfers feel like guys you’ve been rooting for from day one. Joey California (Calcaterra) somehow became a UConn legend in a single season. That part is definitely different but not necessarily bad.

I like this signing a lot. Not a flashy commitment, but he seems like a dependable player and a good scorer. He had three seasons of college tape the coaches could review, and they clearly liked what they saw.

Hurley mentioned before the game that he was very familiar with the Mitchell twins having watched them play a lot at URI. Would have loved to hear his unfiltered extended thoughts. They have talent and have now shown they are coachable. What a waste.
