If Cox is your guy I would move on him sooner rather than later, otherwise he could very well wind up being UConn's next Associate Head Coach. Remember UConn can pay their Associate head coach a lot of money.

If you want to look outside that is fine, I just wouldn't prolong it too long.

Very interesting article. Thanks for posting. A lot of these programs pop up and then disappear after a few years. Another shady aspect of basketball. If I was one of these kids and wanted to go in this direction I would head to a more traditional prep school like a Brewster Academy or a St. Andrews.

From what I have read there appears to be a strong financial faction (Vitamin Water?) that is looking at a Chris Mullen or a Mark Jackson type for the St. John's job. I guess they are split in what type of coach they want with others wanting a young up and comer.

BC would be tough to beat not only because Murphy is there now but Hanlon and Terrell were teammates and in the same backcourt at New Hampton Prep before Terrell went to Brewster.

The NPSI Tournament is taking place this Thursday through Sunday at RIC.
