Schools with large followings generate interest in market and that it why smallish Siena is attractive versus say big BU despite the fact that Albany is a small market and Boston is much larger. I don't think this is going to strop with X and Butler. Tehre have been conflicting reports, with some saying Dayton and SLU will follow a year later, in '14. We are witnessing the slow dissolution of the A10, just as it was about to pick up steam.

A VERY big win by the Billikens, this one on the road. Pulled their RPI from the bubble-bound territory of 45, up to 35 in the course of 4 days..by beating the two "newcomers." Nicely done. Majerus is gently guiding this team from above, I think.

No question Ryan Center helps in competing against peer schools -- ie, not top tier mid-majors like Xavier or Dayton - but the LaSalle's, Richmonds and George Washington's of the world. It's a definite advantage there.
