I think we have one of the best colors (KeaneyBlue) and Logos, the Rams Horns. But now, it is almost impossible to find anything with the Ram Horns logo. This is awful. The Horns are cool.

Re: Hockey enthusiast letter to Projo-Scrap Football at URI

Maybe it is off the subject other than, if you want hockey get it, donate, lots of money, and don't say dump football. If you want hockey you need women's and men's. However to the point. I think something has to be done in basketball, the last 1 minutes of UMass basketball game took 20 minutes to p...

Re: Koch Article "No Plans on Dropping Football"

Looks like nothing will happened unless some big donor comes along like the FieldTurf for "Baseball. However , I did not read in detail, but it seems like the gist of this, is that we really don't have a Plan for facilities. I have a 13 year old architectural drawing of revamped Meade, but 13 y...

Well, yes, facilities help, but a winning atmosphere helps. But for URI football, facility improvement would be an outward sign that the Admin was serious.

Bryant had high level of Admin support for football, how else can you go from no football, to D-3, to NEC in 25 years without Admin Support.
Facilities are going to be top, with indoor practice facility.

However, it was an exciting game to watch, and the crowd in the East Stands were really into it, standing on their seats during big plays at the end of the game. Give the Towson kicker credit, he really nailed that field goal, it was 55 yards and had room to spare.

I think we can get 12,000 on a good weather homecoming or family day with good weather and good team. Brown U. got more than this during Night games vs. Harvard, but they did not do a night game this year. More for a playoff game in good weather meaning not rain or snow, which would imply we have a ...

Well, we knew we would not be competitive against JMU. Even UNH really wasn't , and they played at home. The score looks close because after JMU went up by 3 or 4 TD's against UNH, they eased off, and UNH fought back. JMU most likely is better than Kansas. But take away the Ryan Center, and Mackel f...
