Foumena played when Fuchs was out and there was no one else to back up Brown. My thoughts are that he has told Miller that he’s not coming back so Archie is not going to waste any more time with him.

Just keep in mind Jack Kraft’s year 2 team only won 5 games. And there was no NIL and portal back then. It’s frustrating but hopefully Archie can turn it around.

Why was House on the court with 4 fouls under 10 seconds left and we have a dead ball while going on defense? Why not put someone else in to foul then bring him back for the last 5 seconds. If nothing else he is a good FT that can play PG. Will a plus at end of close games As Kortight doesn’t appear to be the guy u want with the ball when the other team is fouling.

They didn’t grow tonight. Very poor execution down the stretch. And with 2 timeouts they should have called 1 when Bilau was having trouble finding an outlet. They weren’t ready to go right in to a game winning play.

Unfortunately Jiggy didn’t graduate. At least not from URI. Stan is a member of the HOF and should be considered. Phil Kydd is also a member of the HOF and he was a freshman on that ‘78 team as was Jimmy Wright who should also be in the HOF.

Still getting Ts and bring the ball up after rebounds in the 25th game shows a lack of coaching. A stupid T should be an automatic seat on the bench. Not kicking it out to guard to push it up the floor should be another seat on the bench. It’s called coaching which does not seem apparent here

In the 70s we played 2 games at the Dunk each year. Each had a home game. In ‘78 we played 3. Split during the regular season and beat PC in the ECAC final to win the automatic bid to the Dance when there were only 32 teams

He is obviously still hurting. In the last 2 games u could see he couldn’t even jump off the right foot when going left. That’s why he was getting no elevation. Hopefully he heals with some rest. We will need him.

The ‘78 team was as deep as this one tho the minutes were not as equal. Starting 5 of Jiggy, Stan, Sly, Irv Chatman & John Nelson were as good as any we have had.
