I believe a jumbotron from 2002 was too heavy for the Ryan Center roof- same goes for Gampel Pavilion.. However the newer ones are much lighter than the older hanging scoreboards being pushed 20 something years ago.

Goodness...they are just bleeding money and they are getting zero returns for any program in their athletic department. I love it. I hate them. Frank Martin has UMass on the up and up. If they can sustain winning, and beat some top 25 teams, the fans will return. The MAC is stable but the rust belt area has some better teams than the A10. Now Martin needs to get the AD on the phone and schedule a long term series with UConn again. Just win ...

One tier for now with the luxury boxes and press box then add a secomd tier if ticket demand increases. Guessing the new east side stands will be in the 7500-8000 capacity. A shame there are did not include endzone seating.

I think UMass should wait for the American or ACC to open up before they jump to Con-USA. The ACC will most likely not be interested but that depends on how many teams leave. I was hoping the Meade East Side stands would be roughly the size of the old Memorial Stadium stands at UConn with the addition of luxury boxes. Roughly 10-12K for the east side.
