By the way, Stone has a vested interest in collectives thriving as that is now how he at least partially makes a living. So don’t expect an unbiased answer and agreement about the mess it is. He probably even has incentive pay for growing it.

What little we are hearing is not instilling confidence in me. It’s not good when the players we are competing for in the portal have mid to low level A10 level schools as their best options. We don’t get were we want to be by recruiting players that are stretch A10 players.

Let’s be honest, even at the big time schools most fans are not donating. I am going to assume the 80/20 rule applies here if not and even higher percentage…80% of your revenue comes from 20% of your customers.

I donate as well, to my school. The school that has been there over 100 years and I received my degree from. A non profit institution. Coaches that were giving testimony this week said that players and families don’t care anymore about what your plans are for developing them and the family atmosphere etc…all they want to know is how much are you going to pay them.

Not only were they not talented enough, but they quit on him/tuned him out too. The only thing that could have been worse was a major off court issue. It was not a 3 game improvement…it was 2. The D2 game doesn’t count. And it was only 1 game in the A10. So basically no improvement.
