Re: URI Rhode to Excellence Poll
Exactly how many big donors do you think there are for URI? Look at our endowment for example. We are not in the top 150 for endowment size. We don't even make the top 50 for public universities for endowment size. Where do you all expect these big donors to come from? Sometimes the expectations of...

There just isn’t enough will among the general fan base to generate enough money. So it’s the big dogs or nothing. Our fan base would probably step up if we became relevant again, but the big donors are going to have to do it to get us there…chicken or egg. We do not have enough consistent success t...

We know this happens but you can’t use Hurley as a comp since he was the HC and that is very common for recruits to follow the HC. Interesting intel from Nebraska media up above. Based on the intel, by my count, we currently have 2 true PG’s (Hammond and Ways) and 2 that can play PG if necessary (Lawrence and Kort). Therefore, it appears we are in good shape at the PG position for at least the next few years - as long as we ca...

What little we are hearing is not instilling confidence in me. It’s not good when the players we are competing for in the portal have mid to low level A10 level schools as their best options. We don’t get were we want to be by recruiting players that are stretch A10 players.
