I feel like he initially tried to go big, get the splashy name- poaching Freeman from GW, getting a former 4 star in Harris, even Kenny Johnson probably fits here. Now, just get the guys who can play, who fit, and who you can develop.

Terrell quit on Oklahoma State. Glad he came here of course but let’s call a spade a spade. De-commmit=Giving up. Then I’ll take a “quitter” like JT every day of the week and twice on Saturday. The assistant who recruited him left, and he found a great spot for him. Let the hate fuel you, I guess.

We need bigs so, get Apotoslos in for a visit/workout IF he is open to it. What do we have to lose ? If he played for Dan, I have to think he has a good attitude and is a hard worker. He’s a very tall guard, not necessarily a big. He has almost no game play, but they put together practice tape for ...

Apostolos Roumoglou. He was added right before the 22-23 season for roster depth. He’s solid, can shoot like crazy. Great talent in front of him and probably his defense kept him from the rotation, but AP was a crowd favorite. Place went wild when this happened. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C2p6Dh...

An amazing run for UConn. Twelve straight tournament games won by double digits, back to back dominant championships. Last year’s team lost three starters and five of the top eight scorers. I know that, collectively, this place is mostly in some kind of doom spiral, but winning helps. A lot. College basketball is fun, and I guarantee you can be just as connected to and supportive of a two year guy who gets you a conference championship, for example, as a four year one. This team, collectively, is kind of crazy and so easy to root for. The roster, 1 through 14, is a solid, unselfish group. Watching them celebrate each other is almost as much fun as the wins.

They have a nice chunk of money to offer the next guy. Johnson was the big name who needed a way back in- no need to do that again, just get someone who can gameplan the hell out of a matchup and evaluate/develop players. Those guys exist at all levels, find him.
