Re: '18 MD PF Jermain Harris (Offer)

If he wants the bigger conference, he can certainly get it, but the development of Martin and then Langevine is a nice path to show any prospect. Martin initially got his chance on a team that wasn't very good and eventually led the team to a championship. Langevine's play showed a freshman could ge...

Re: 2016 PF COREY MANIGAULT

Yeah, they're very unlikely to bring in 5 freshmen. It's hard to make much of Manigault's year at Pitt- kind of a wash for all involved. A lot of guys left Stallings program at the end of the season. Manigault's now at Indian Hills, which is a good program. By going this route, he gets to play next ...

Are you saying that Layssard didn't work hard enough last offseason? He didn't look like he was in good enough shape to play to me. As for point guards, I think Jarvis can advance it quicker, but Jeff has slightly better vision. I wonder if Fatts might be the guy (eventually) to be the one to get t...

I think everyone believes Hass is a big loss, but IMO Iversons shoes may be harder to fill. It's easy to forget he was 6'9 with length and athleticism. We have no replacement for him on Defense Iverson is a huge loss. Martin is a huge loss. The loss of these two players became even larger based on ...

Quinnipiac was still in the NEC when Dan was at Wagner, so he and Moore coached against each other for two years. Not that it matters all that much, but Wagner was 3-0 in their match-ups. The coaching moves are a bit odd, especially coming off our best season since the late 90's. Really strange when you compare the exit of coaches to players leaving. While players transferring out is very common at most schools these days, URI has not had a single players leave in the last two seaso...

Leaving a spot open for a transfer/late developing JUCO would seem to make a lot of sense. It took them less than a month to officially put together a four-man classs of '16s. Nice to avoid both Duquesne and Fordham. That's a really solid set for Rhody. The games haven't always been the most fun to attend, but I'll miss not having the second Philly game.
