Hal, you are right that big losses like that usually cause teams to drop out. But, to be fair, UNH lost its QB in the second quarter. He was the league's preseason Offensive Player of the Year. That and 14 straight playoff appearances will cause voters reason to give a team some leeway.

Just wanted to clarify that he does not have a contract with the Ravens at this point. He has been invited to a tryout at their rookie mini-camp this weekend, but has not officially been picked up. Hopefully it goes well and there will be good news to report after the weekend.
