Offensively he was a PF in a 2G body, which led to missed layups and blocked shots. His D was decent.

I know the portal and NIL has made it tough for mid-majors but it's disappointing that a staff that was supposed to be strong recruiting has missed so often.

You can't keep turning over your roster and expect to win. Always and Rory go, everyone else comes back. That's 4 new players next season.

Archie has been disappointing as has the recruiting by the staff.
Next year is pivotal.

I would argue that every URI team I've seen to some extent has taken on the personality of the coach. From the negativity of Baron to the intensity of Hurley.
So, what personality traits is Archie passing on to this team?

Tyson was headed to Fairfield. NLHS coach Parker ranted and raved to a reporter: he'd be starting right now for URI and they haven't even called. Reporter told me. Rest is history.

Coen kept getting crazy numbers on ARD from high school. Figured they were inflated. Then he showed up on campus. Dominated the first scrimmage open to the public. Everyone knew immediately: URI had a special one.
