Re: FCS play off attendance-2nd round, check out Nova and UNH
Weather impacted the attendance at both UNH and Villanova. I watched both games on ESPN3. Lets see what the attendance is this weekend, I think both have home games again.

Re: #2 New Hampshire at Meade, 11/8 at 12:30
I am not fully sold about our facilities as "the" critical issue. As I have said before, in my opinion UNH and Maine may have marginally better stadiums - personally I think the overall atmosphere at Meade is better - but what they are offering recruits is a winning tradition. Of course re...

Re: #2 New Hampshire at Meade, 11/8 at 12:30
If the administration is considering attendance as either a reason to leave "well enough" alone then there is a major problem with the administrators. Every sport URI competes in has to pursue winning as a reflection of what the university is all about. It really isn't different than the a...

Re: #2 New Hampshire at Meade, 11/8 at 12:30

Re: #2 New Hampshire at Meade, 11/8 at 12:30
UNH and to a lesser extent Maine are the models we need to understand and replicate. It is clear that football is more important to them and losing is not tolerated for long. Is there a connection that they both play hockey at a high level and don't emphasize basketball? How does their overall athle...

Re: URI football: History is chasing us
A $20-30 million investment in facilities, etc., would only put us on a par with the bottom half of the CAA. No way, no how will we ever approach the level of funding of the top schools in this conference. Where does the $20-30 million figure come from? I agree we have to be committed to being a pla...
